'The Bear' McNair, a giant of a highlander who is himself
terminally ill with a rare illness, meets up with 9 other
similar patients whilst in hospital.
With treatment costing £100,000 per patient and a survival
rate of only 1 in 10, the group are no longer cost effective
to treat within the modern health service. Treatment is
withdrawn.
Rather than accept their fiscal fate, the 10 team up and
decide that if they can scam and scheme their way to £1,000,000,
they can all get treated and theoretically one of them should
survive.
The question is, can they raise the money?
And if they do, who will survive?
