CHARLIE is busy typing away upstairs. The BEAR and PHIL sit at the computer. JOHN and KATRINA are having an intimate conversation at the table.

THE BEAR I'm passed that.

ELAINA runs in and the BEAR lifts her onto his shoulders.

ELAINA Big bear!

THE BEAR All right pal?

LAURA is standing at the door. The BEAR comes to the door with ELAINA on his shoulders.

ELAINA Hi Laura!

The BEAR bends down so ELAINA can hug LAURA. His face is at her chest. He then straightens up so their faces are at the same level.

LAURA Hi.

THE BEAR Hi.
